Sri Lankan Snacks Cooking Workshop

Claire from the Green Goat Cafe will be our chef this evening.
“I will be cooking Aloo Bonda/Potato Bonda which are a common Sri Lankan street food and a firm family favourite most of the dishes I will be cooking are fond memories from my childhood and recipes handed down from my Grandmother who grew up in Mount Lavinia which is suburb of Colombo.
Bonda are spiced potato balls with fresh herbs, chilli in a chickpea batter coating and are absolutely delicious vegan and gluten free.
Secondly there will be Vegetable Kottu which is a spicy side dish made with shredded garlic paratha made with an abundance of fresh herbs and spices mixed with shredded cabbage carrots and spring onions/leeks.”
